Private Coaching
The ultimate program to gain personalized
coaching on what is holding you back from
playing to your potential
and fully enjoying the game.
Who is this for?
You are the perfect candidate for custom coaching if…
- You are a serious golfer who is not playing to your potential and wants quick results
- Golf is a big part of your life and you want to enjoy the game more so you can enjoy your life more
- Your golf is impacting your off-course life or your off-course life is impacting your golf experience.
- Mastering your golf brain is the missing piece that will take your game to the next level and you don’t want to figure it out on your own.
What is it about?
It’s more than “mental game” work.
It’s a transformation.
How you do one thing you do everything.
Golf has a tendency to rip the bandaid off our ability to manage our mind in life.
Off the course, we have time and distractions to help us deal with situations.
On the course we have minutes or seconds.
The game reveals us.
That is why this is more than tools and tactics to use over the ball. This is about being aware of your patterns and habits, understanding why you get in your own way and realizing that you have ONE brain that works the same in every area of your life.
That is why what I offer is unique.
This is golf/life coaching.
It’s all connected.
And this is good news because not only does your golf experience improve but so do other areas of your life.
What do we work on together?
Everyone comes to coaching with a bit of a different priority.
It may be to:
- finish better In tournaments
- overcome anxiety
- play better under pressure
- solve for the paralyzing fear of failure
- build confidence (without the need to practice more)
- stop worrying about other people
- play golf with more calm
- balance golf and life
- believing in yourself
Ultimately what we are all after is to feel better.
We get stuck when we think “when I score better, I’ll feel better”.
This puts tremendous pressure on your game which rarely produces great results.
And while scoring well is great, the objective and where I help people is to show you how to think better so that you can feel better and THEN…you score better more consistently and effortlessly.
Why me?
I have been where you are. I knew I could do better. I played most of my competitive golf career frustrated knowing that I underperformed.
I knew I was in my own way but no sport psychologist really hit the mark on why I was not taking my game to the course.
I thought the answer was to practice harder and hit more balls.
As a teacher of the game, it was actually what I encouraged 1000’s of students to do…practice more.
And while they improved and learned the game, the answer to why they were miserable or frustrated or anxious or underperforming wasn’t at the bottom of a basket of range balls.
As long as a club was in the golfer’s hand the problem was always going to be the swing which meant more practicing and more lessons.
I discovered and studied a process that I used in other areas of my life with great success and I applied it to my own golf.
It was what I needed all those years of professional golf. My game (specifically putting) did a 180 in 3 days. I went from wanting to quit the game to having fun for the first time in a very long time.
It is new and different and I want to share it with as many people as possible.
By far, the biggest and fastest impact I have made on a
golfer’s game is by teaching them to manage their brain.
What is the benefit to me?
You discover what is REALLY holding you back. You understand how to take your best swings to the course.
You learn a process to continuously evolve and level up your thinking, your beliefs and your results. Instead of being at the affect of negative thinking or emotions on the course, you gain control. Ultimately, you play with a sense of calm and confidence that you may have never experienced before. Then…you witness other areas of your life improve.
And I didn’t have to watch you hit one golf ball. And you didn’t have to practice harder to achieve it.
What can I expect?
Just like changing your swing, it takes time to change habits
and it takes consistency to engrain new ones.
We meet once a week through Zoom for 50 minutes and get to work unleashing your game from the thought errors that keep you stuck or not creating the results you want. Once you sign-up, you and I connect and pick a day and time to get started. There is always flexibility in scheduling days and times to work around tournaments and events.
